Application guide for SiOO:X wood protection

Complete guide for applying SiOO:X on decking, cladding, façades and fences. Built on 30 years of research and experience with the original silicate-potassium formula – so you achieve 12 years of durable protection from the first coat.

Preparation

1. Clean the wood thoroughly from dirt, moss and old coatings.
2. Ensure wood moisture content is below 18%.
3. Check weather forecast: dry and 5–25°C for at least 24 hours.

Application – decking vs cladding

Decking: 1 coat Wood Protector + 1 coat Surface Protector. Cladding/façade: 2 coats Wood Protector + 1 coat Surface Protector. Use the consumption calculator for exact amounts.
