Villa Sjövik – more time for life on the deck
Morning coffee in the sunshine, late barbecues and barefoot days. At Villa Sjövik, Carin Kiebasinska Norberg wanted more time to enjoy her outdoor space and less time starting the treatment all over again each spring. Three films follow her deck project, from the first scan to a terrace ready for the season.

A new chapter for the deck
Carin describes being tired of the recurring spring project. She starts with WoodScan to assess the wood and plan what it needs, then orders the products for home delivery.

From cleaning to treatment
The work begins with Pre-Wash and thorough scrubbing. Once the wood is dry, Carin applies Wood Protection with a decking pad and finishes with Surface Protection. Her film also shows how the weather forecast helps her plan the work.

Time to enjoy the outdoor space
The furniture is out, the flowers are planted and the terrace is ready. The freshly treated wood still has a warm tone. Carin looks forward to seeing it gradually develop towards silver grey with the weather – these films do not yet show the final silver-grey colour.
